• Institutional development of Animus Association: setting
up the organization’s infrastructure; establishing a
network among governmental and non-governmental organisations
on a national and international level; establishing
a Board of Trustees
“Service for Support of Raped Women”
Duration: February 1996 – February 1997
Location: Bulgaria/Sofia

Objectives: Establishment of service for raped women;
initial development of programs for crisis intervention
and counselling for post-traumatic stress disorder;
referral to clinical, social and legal specialists.

Objectives:
• Further development of the specialised team working
in support to women, survivors of violence.
• Encouraging changes in the public attitudes towards
violence against women.
• Further development of the national network among
governmental and non-governmental organisations relevant
to the issue.
• Further development of the international network among
women’s organisations. Establishment of stable partnerships
and co-operation among related women’s organisations.
