“I became aware of La Strada, and more specifically Animus Association Foundation, while writing my dissertation on sex trafficking from the Balkans. Of all the La Strada offices, Animus gave the impression that its organisational structure had been developed the furthest. Moreover, it seemed that in Bulgaria I would have a chance of managing without the knowledge of local language.
